Handmade from scratch in my studio in Tallinn. The first Seagull Jug was made back in London in 2014, since then each year its design slightly changes; with handle or not, tall or wide, with or without spikes etc.
Quite often I get asked what is the purpose of the jug and how one can use it. It's basically a pourer either for cream or milk, or maybe some maple syrup for waffles or pancakes. I also use it as a stationary for pens and brushes or as a planter.
The inside is glazed with food-safe glaze; the outer surface is sanded. The pastel blue colour is achieved by adding ceramics stains to the porcelain clay body.
